This week's updates

we had our brainstorming session yesterday. Emma will be posting some photos and stuff on the meetings we had thus far some time soon ;)

we will update you with the date, venue and theme of Malam some time this week. Currently waiting for some things to be finalized before we can release the dates and all.

over these few weeks, amidst the studies and cold weather and organizing, i can pretty much relate to this:

The crowd gives the leader new strength.
Evenius

once again, thanks folks! :)

anyway, what's most urgent now is $$$. We will be working on the grant proposal this week and also sending letters out to potential sponsors. Our team will be also doing some fund-raising. We will update you more on that later on :)

As for the decorations and the events etc etc for the night...

Don't tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results.
George S. Patton

To lead people, walk beside them ...
As for the best leaders, the people do not notice their existence.
The next best, the people honor and praise.
The next, the people fear;
and the next, the people hate ...
When the best leader's work is done the people say,
"We did it ourselves!"
Lao-tsu

The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good men to do what he wants done, and self-restraint to keep from meddling with them while they do it.
Theodore Roosevelt

have been learning heaps! till then, off to shower, dinner and then uni~! :)

Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.
John F. Kennedy
